Milk Not Jails exceeds fundraising goal

With the support of 353 backers, Milk Not Jails exceeded its $22,000 fundraising goal last week. In a 45-day campaign conducted through Kickstarter.org, we collected donations in amounts as little as $1 and as much as $2,500. Pledges came in from across New York State and the country.

These 353 have provided vital support to our new dairy brand. Which, with the addition of a refrigerated truck and labels, will be rapidly expanding. The dairy brand and the donations are another step in our mission to replace New York’s too-large and racist prison complex with a healthy and vibrant agriculture industry.
